Three Rivers Bioneers (3RB) is the Beaming Bioneers conference partner based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The mission of 3RB is to foster a local movement of citizens and organizations who strive to cultivate sustainable communities in the Three Rivers Bioregion through actions revolving around social justice, ecological health, and innovative solutions.

Three Rivers Bioneers Conference takes place October 16-18

Bioneers is a leading source of breakthrough solutions for restoring people and planet. The conference brings together people passionate about making a difference and serves as an incubator for new strategies for change. Here's just a few of the things planned for this weekend:

40 local presenters covering everything from green design to creative movement to economic justice

15 national speakers including Dr. Andrew Weil and Michael Pollan

10 awesome attractions including City Chickens, RiverCubes, the Power Flower, and the Universe Story

2 nights dancing away with DJ J. Malls and other local musical artists

So what is going to happen at this conference, anyway?  A stellar line-up of local workshops- bridging the topics of green jobs, local economy & agriculture, and environmental restoration- will comprise part of the day.  Speeches beamed live by the plenary speakers from the national Bioneers conference will follow.  Don't forget the urban chicken co-op demo, books & gifts for sale,  dancing and blessings... the list goes on!
