Bioneers has arrived in Pittsburgh!

Bioneers is inspiring a shift to live on Earth in ways that honor the web of life, each other, and future generations.   We welcome Bioneers to our region for the first time by introducing Three Rivers Bioneers!

Conservationist and author Jane Goodall speaks at Bioneers

Jane Goodall, PhD, DBE, began her landmark study of chimpanzees in what is now Tanzania in 1960 under the mentorship of famed anthropologist and paleontologist Dr. Louis Leakey. Her work at Gombe Stream would become the foundation of future primatological research and redefine the relationship between humans and animals. She continually urges her audiences to recognize their personal responsibility and ability to effect change. "Every individual counts," she says. "Every individual has a role to play. Every individual makes a difference."

Three Rivers Bioneers: Connect. Discover. Celebrate

Three Rivers Bioneers (3RB) is the Beaming Bioneers conference partner based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The mission of 3RB is to foster a local movement of citizens and organizations who strive to cultivate sustainable communities in the Three Rivers Bioregion through actions revolving around social justice, ecological health, and innovative solutions.

 

2012 Three Rivers Bioneers - Be part of the Movement!

Bioneers is a leading source of breakthrough solutions for restoring people and planet. The conference brings together people passionate about making a difference and serves as an incubator for new strategies for change. 

Join us as we plan for 2012's inspiring weekend and other events. We will be forming commitees to take the lead on organizing.

1st EVER Three Rivers Community Foundation's Building

Change Conference! 3RB was happy to contribute program workshops, a panel, and

Bioneer-related films for this region-building convergence. 

 

Being involved in this undertaking had us setting aside 

our own conference for 2011, but stay posted for news 

regarding upcoming planning meetings for what we 

anticipate will be the 2012 Three Rivers Bioneers 

Conference!
