Three Rivers Bioneers: Connect. Discover. Celebrate

Three Rivers Bioneers (3RB) is the Beaming Bioneers conference partner based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The mission of 3RB is to foster a local movement of citizens and organizations who strive to cultivate sustainable communities in the Three Rivers Bioregion through actions revolving around social justice, ecological health, and innovative solutions.

The Urban Ecology Collaborative: The Host of Three Rivers Bioneers

The Urban Ecology Collaborative (UEC) cultivates healthy, safe and vibrant cites through collective learning and united action and by:

Developing a unique multi-city network for urban ecosystem research and restoration
Completing relevant programs, or "tools" such as educational programs, urban forestry programs and advocacy programs to address common urban ecosystem issues
Developing and integrated "tool-kit" for sharing these tools, standartizing them, evaluating their effectiveness and disseminating them to our cites

The UEC is a ten-city collaborative. The Pittsburgh UEC has hosted past events such as The Green Forum and MERGE (Methods to Engage Residents in Grassroot Efforts). The working groups are currently focused on projects such as environmental education, stormwater management, and of course, Bioneers.
