Three Rivers Bioneers (3RB) is the Beaming Bioneers conference partner based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The mission of 3RB is to foster a local movement of citizens and organizations who strive to cultivate sustainable communities in the Three Rivers Bioregion through actions revolving around social justice, ecological health, and innovative solutions.

August 2009: Braddock Farm Tour

The dog days of summer could not scare off Bioneers from walking through Braddock Urban Farm on August 17. Thank you to Bike Pittsburgh for organizing a Bike Fest ride to the farm tour and to Grow Pittsburgh for hosting us!

GTECH was packed with over 40 attendees as Carlos Gasca Yanez spoke about StartUp! and teaching budding entrepreneurs.

June 2009: Working With Nature, Not Against It

Attendees at CCI watched Janine Benyus speak about biomimicry and then brainstormed their own solutions to storm water problems with the help of Nate Wildfire, ELDI, and Barton Kirk, SEEDS.
